Welcome

Welcome to Recorder Players Llanrwst. You have just discovered a small, enthusiastic , fun loving and very friendly recorder group! We currently have 13 members. Whilst we would welcome any new members of any age, It would be great to have some more men join us!

We meet in a magnificently refurbished 15th century church (St Grwst) which sits on the edge of the River Conwy , in the Conwy Valley, North Wales, and are fortunate enough to have descant, tenor, treble, bass and great bass players, some of whom can play more than one instrument. We play solely for our own pleasure, so do not give performances, thus sparing members any stress!

Nevertheless we endeavour to play to the very best of our ability, appreciating the skilled guidance and instruction of one particular member! Please see our “About us”,” Gallery” and “Playlist” pages for more information.

Our playlist is put together by members, and is changed regularly.

We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month between 2pm and 4pm, usually stopping early so that we can enjoy a cup of tea together and a chat.. an important adjunct to every meeting! We welcome all new members whatever your level of ability!

Members pay £4 to attend each meeting as we have church hire costs to cover. These payments can be made on line or by cash on the day. A number of members choose to pay for a number of sessions when paying on line.
